The brief

A floor network refresh required every outlet patched to new access switching, labelled to a structured identifier scheme, and certified — so the client’s records finally matched reality.

What we delivered

  • Patching of outlets to new access switches, dressed panel by panel
  • Machine-printed labelling on every panel position following the client’s floor–cabinet–port ID convention
  • Fluke DSX certification of the estate, with failures remediated and re-tested before submission
  • As-built port schedule reconciled against the physical estate — no ghost ports, no unlabelled links

The detail that matters

Certification isn’t a formality; it is the difference between “the cabling should be fine” and a signed measurement for every link. The label on the panel is only trustworthy because the test result behind it exists.

Handover
