The brief

Working as part of a subcontract delivery team inside a live hyperscale campus, our engineers carried out structured single-mode patching across production network chassis — an environment where a single mis-patch is a reportable incident.

What we delivered

• Schedule-driven patching of pre-labelled single-mode leads across high-density line cards
• Every lead verified against the patch schedule at both ends before seating — label, port, polarity
• Looms formed and restrained to the operator’s cable management standard; no free-hanging leads across serviceable modules
• Full compliance with the site’s method statements, permit and escort regime

The detail that matters

In a live data hall the skill isn’t speed — it’s discipline. Reading the schedule, checking the label, seating the lead, recording it done. Hundreds of times, with zero tolerance for deviation.

Completed patch schedules returned line-by-line, exceptions log, and works signed off by the principal contractor.
